Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting on-ground collection of overdue receivables across wide geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit customers with overdue accounts, deliver formal demand letters, and remind them of payment obligations.
  • Receive cash or cheque payments when authorized, issue collection/provisional receipts, and remit funds within 24 hours.
  • Validate or update customer contact details and report any location issues or evasive behavior.
  • Maintain accurate daily field collection reports including payments received and actions taken.
  • Escalate hard refusals, disputes, or suspicious cases to the assigned Collection Supervisor.
Required Competencies

Technical Skills:

  1. Knowledge of field collection practices and escalation techniques.
  2. Ability to issue receipts and manage daily cash/cheque reporting.
  3. Familiarity with route planning and regional travel logistics.
  4. Strong documentation and reporting discipline.
  5. Basic understanding of credit and AR recovery processes.

Behavioral Competencies:

  1. Trustworthiness and integrity under minimal supervision.
  2. High initiative and resourcefulness, especially in remote areas.
  3. Assertive yet respectful in customer dealings.
  4. Strong work ethic and commitment to daily targets.

Qualifications and Experience
  • College level education but higher education is preferred.
  • Must be literate and numerate, with basic communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: Competitive per day rate.

Mobility Allowance: 2,000 per month.

Fuel Allowance: 1 liter for every 25 kilometers travelled.

Meal Allowance: At least 50 kilometers away from designated home base.

Other Benefits: 13th month pay, HMO upon regularization, Accident Insurance, Service Incentive Leaves, Maternity/Paternity Leave, Government Mandated Benefits.
