Part-Time Bookkeeper for US Clients

Position Overview:
- We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to join our team, with opportunities for growth into full-time work.
- The schedule will align with our core business hours in the Pacific Time zone, with occasional flexibility required.
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Categorize and code transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure up-to-date records.
- Manage accounts receivable, sending invoices and processing payments as necessary.
- Prepare monthly financial statements to provide a clear picture of client finances.
- Conduct basic financial statement analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet deadlines.
- Generate and review financial reports to aid clients in decision-making.
- Support firm operations through task management, communication, and other administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with industry standards.
- Adhere to established procedures and contribute to their improvement for efficient processes.
- Prioritize client confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Keeper App for task and project management.
- Familiarity with Gusto for payroll and LastPass for password management.
- Proficiency with Loom for video communication and remote collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with US clients.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with cloud-based applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven resourcefulness in finding solutions to complex problems.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills with multiple deadlines.
