Mid-Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database design, management, and optimization, as well as proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions
  • Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database and data-related issues
  • Help customers debug their ETL issues

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also work with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and define data requirements, ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the data, build and maintain databases, write scripts to automate processes and tasks, and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience in database design, management, and optimization
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
  • Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques
  • Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
