Job Description

At LinearWorks Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Professional - Occupational Health Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health Promotion and Education: Design and deliver educational programs to promote healthy habits and disease prevention among employees, utilizing various communication channels such as lectures, counseling, fliers, leaflets, and posters.
  • Safety and Health Training: Educate and train employees on safety and health protocols, ensuring they understand the importance of maintaining a safe work environment.
  • First Aid and Medical Care: Provide first aid treatment and administer medications as needed, adhering to established medical procedures.
  • Accident Response: Accompany injured employees to the nearest hospital in case of work-related accidents, ensuring their prompt medical attention.
  • Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete medical records of all employees, including monitoring and reporting symptoms and changes in patient conditions.
  • Return-to-Work Evaluations: Assess returning employees from sick leave, verify medical certificates, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Diagnostic Test Evaluation: Evaluate diagnostic test results and medical certificates to determine employees' medical condition.
  • Collaboration with Company Physician: Assist the Company Physician during consultation schedules, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Pre-Employment and Annual Medical Exams: Coordinate and assist in annual, regular, and pre-employment medical and physical examinations of employees.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report on dispensed and stocked inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Clinic Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly reports for the HR and Admin Department, detailing clinic activities and employee data.
  • Canteen Inspection: Conduct monthly inspections of the canteen, submitting reports to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Employee Benefits Claims: Review and submit employees' maternity and sickness benefit claims, ensuring timely processing.
  • Pregnancy Status Monitoring: Monitor and track the pregnancy status of employees, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Submit required reports to DOLE, including monthly WAIR and annual medical reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Programs: Develop and implement occupational safety and health programs, collaborating with the OSH committee to promote healthy living and working conditions.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Remain current with health and safety legislation, particularly during pandemic situations.
