The Financial Regulatory Compliance Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that our operations in Manila comply with all relevant financial regulations and laws. This includes conducting risk-based testing and validation to determine regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute specific reviews to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies

  • Collaborate with Compliance SME's to understand matters for concern related to applicable reviews
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and standards for testing activities

  • Summarize testing results in clear, concise language
  • Identify potential compliance issues and recommend changes/enhancements to improve efficiencies in procedures
  • Track identified issues to closure via periodic follow-up with action owners

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in compliance, compliance testing/monitoring, or auditing
  • Graduate degree or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of EU regulations and key regulatory developments advantageous
  • Motivated individual with a track record of resolving problems using initiative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to advise and challenge senior management and the business
