Financial Services Professional Job Opportunity

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing audits of client financial statements under the supervision of managers and senior personnel.
  • Complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data using standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work.
  • Identify technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate them.
  • Recommend ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience in audit.
  • ERISA and Employee Benefit Plans experience required.
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, GAAP, and industry-specific rules.
  • Experience with paperless auditing applications preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working from Home Requirements
  • Minimum Internet Speed: 50-100 Mbps.
  • Dedicated Home Office Area: Private, quiet workspace.
  • Business Continuity Plan: Power and Internet Backup is a must.
