Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality front-end development with clean code, modern tooling, and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across WordPress, Shopify, and React-based builds, with a focus on delivering complex builds and solving technical challenges.

You will work closely with the lead developer to implement projects and ensure that they meet the required standards.

This is a challenging role that requires someone who is able to think critically and solve problems efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong ability to hand-code solutions rather than rely heavily on plugins.
  • Advanced experience with custom WordPress theme development and Shopify builds.
  • Solid experience with React, including building projects in Gatsby or similar.
  • Deep understanding of ACF and WordPress customisation best practices.
  • Proficient with CSS pre-processors like SCSS and building maintainable design systems.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data.
  • Skilled in optimising websites for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting server-related issues (LAMP/LEMP environments, hosting setups).
