Job Overview:

ePLDT, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity department, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, conducting digital forensics investigations, and supporting the protection of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform vulnerability assessments using industry-leading security tools.
  2. Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  3. Assist in digital forensics investigations, including evidence collection and analysis.
  4. Monitor and respond to security incidents, escalating as needed.
  5. Support penetration testing activities and remediation efforts.
  6. Document and report findings with recommendations for mitigation.
  7. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
  8. Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve our security posture.
  9. Assist in security audits and compliance assessments.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  3. Understanding of digital forensics principles, including evidence collection and chain of custody.
  4. Basic knowledge of security tools, including Wireshark, Autopsy, FTK, EnCase, and Metasploit.
  5. Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security controls.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate complex security concepts effectively.
