European Finance Role

This position is part of a dynamic team responsible for financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work effectively with the finance director and cross-functional teams.

The European Finance Analyst role involves reviewing business cases, communicating with initiative owners, and supporting forecasting and budgeting processes. Additionally, this role requires creating variance reports, contributing to accounting close processes, and improving financial information quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review accuracy of business cases submitted by initiative owners in project platforms.
  • Communicate with initiative owners around actuals tracking (financials) and provide assistance with KPI/Milestones tracking.
  • Support initiative owners in forecasting, budgeting, and risk assessment, and recommend plans to address gaps.
  • Create reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or potentially weekly basis.
  • Contribute to monthly accounting close and reporting processes.
  • Support finance's goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and value of financial information produced, via financial tools, operational efficiencies, and automation.
  • Assist in all integration financial aspects and ad hoc activities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years post-qualification experience in financial analysis, accounting, or similar.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in international time zones.
  • Business partnering experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
