Job Overview

The Lead Buyer will be responsible for supervising a team of Buyers/Senior Buyers and providing daily support, including coordination of quotations, cost comparisons, and liaison with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall procurement needs, services, stores, and spares for assigned pod vessels.
  • Collecting and documenting technical information from pod vessels, workshops, and vendors.
  • Liaison with suppliers, freight forwarders, vessel agents, and the vessel for speedy dispatch in coordination with the Technical Superintendent.
Requirements

College Graduate of any business course. With a minimum 1 – 3 years of work experience in the ship management industry as Buyer or Senior Buyer.
