Chemical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team at W HYDROCOLLOIDS INC. as a Physico-Chemical Testing Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to contribute to the success of our organization.

• Physico-Chemical Laboratory Testing: Conduct thorough testing of sample materials under controlled conditions to ensure reliable results, including hydrogen peroxide residual determination and 1st and 2nd Protocol shelf life validation.
• Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC): Plan and conduct QA/QC programs, investigate scheduled investigations, and recommend corrective actions on customer complaints related to quality.
• Technical Reporting and Documentation: Prepare technical reports, maintain records, and issue Certificates of Analysis for shipments.
• Inventory Management: Maintain product specifications, inventory, and safekeeping, including purchased material specifications for reagents and other chemicals needed for testing.
• Training and Development: Review and update QC manuals, work instructions, and procedures, and train QC analysts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for FDA applications, including preparation of documents needed for filing shipment Health Certificates.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in physico-chemical laboratory testing and QA/QC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
