Job Title: Senior Manager, Security Assurance

About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Security Assurance will lead security assurance initiatives and drive compliance with various security frameworks. This includes ensuring data integrity, facilitating external audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee security assurance programs for regulatory and internal standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits such as HITRUST, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  • Identify and assess gaps in security controls and develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and influence the organization's security strategy.
  • Develop and implement security standards and policies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to evaluate the security posture of the organization and its assets.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams for coherent security practices across the organization.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, focusing on security assurance and compliance, with HIPAA experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS.
