About the Job

The Youth Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to children and adolescents, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing Medical Care: Provide high-quality medical care to children and adolescents, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations and provide timely medical assistance to patients.
  • Medical Examinations: Conduct thorough medical examinations and order diagnostic tests or laboratory examinations as needed to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
  • Surgical Operations: Assist and/or perform surgical operations within own limitations as determined by the Chief of Hospital or Head of Department.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including clinical notes and test results.
  • Training and Education: Educate medical and paramedical students, and train and mentor medical students, extern physicians on a particular field of medicine.
  • MEDICO-LEGAL CASES: Attends to medico-legal cases and responds to court calls.
  • Hospital Research Projects: Participates in hospital research projects and contributes to the development of new medical treatments and protocols.
Requirements:
  • PRC Holder
  • With updated ACLS and BLS training
  • With Philhealth Accreditation
  • With S2 License
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
