Warehouse Helper Job Description

At Infinity Outsourcing Services, we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Helper to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weighing and Counting: Ensure accurate weighing and counting of received items to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist warehouse staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage according to delivery or shipping orders.
  • Preparation and Loading: Prepare merchandise for delivery or shipping by packaging and labeling them accordingly, and load merchandise onto delivery vehicles.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise, including inventory levels and transaction history.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed.
  • Warehouse Organization: Organize warehouse merchandise and stack them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Perform all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience working as a warehouse helper.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices and proficiency in warehouse inventory management software.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate warehouse lift equipment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require manual labor.
