Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Knitasia Industries Incorporated. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the Accounting Department.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process account payables and receivables, ensuring timely payment and accurate reconciliation.
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies, resolving issues promptly.
  • Create and update expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Process reimbursement forms, maintaining accurate records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Prepare bank deposits, verifying accuracy and completing necessary documentation.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy, identifying errors and implementing corrective measures.
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems, including QuickBooks and other industry-standard applications.
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
