About the Role:

The Medical Receptionist is a critical member of our surgical clinic team, responsible for scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling Appointments:
    • Make or change appointments as needed
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date scheduling
  • Incoming Calls:
    • Answer patient calls and schedule appointments
    • Forward calls to senior staff members as needed
  • Fax Machine:
    • Receive and process faxed referrals from referring doctors
    • Call patients to schedule appointments
  • Recall System:
    • Manage patient recall system to ensure timely follow-ups
Requirements:
  • Customer Service in Healthcare experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Amenable to onsite setup and night shift work
  • Nursing Graduate or prior experience in medical insurance verification is a plus
