Master Woodworker

We are seeking a skilled Master Woodworker to join our team at Subic Drydock Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written specifications related to carpentry projects.
• Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry work according to company standards and plans.
• Lay out and install stud wall framing, stairs for basements or decks, and establish grades for proper drainage.
• Use transit levels to determine grades and elevations.
• Install standard wall-hung cabinetry and accessories, pre-hung door units, and windows.
• Install drywall and properly tape drywall sheathing.
• Maintain a safe and clean jobsite, utilizing necessary tools such as levels, squares, and layout tools.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Lead Carpenter.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of carpentry principles, including blueprint reading and drafting.
• Proficiency in using various carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
