Job Title: Company Driver

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
  • Route Optimization: Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
  • Traffic Management: Promptly inform the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
  • Parking and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Time Record Keeping: Provide accurate time records of the company vehicle's comings and goings.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Licenses: Valid Professional driver's license.
  • Clean Record: Clean driving record.
  • Road Safety Knowledge: Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
  • Local Knowledge: Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Navigational Skills: The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
