Job Purpose

As an Academy Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development solutions to build the Sales competencies of employees for current and future jobs within the assigned business/groups/talent segments.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement the Learning and Development Framework, budget process, policies, and service level agreements for the assigned business/groups/talent segments.
  • Prepare and monitor the budget for assigned business/groups/talent segments/programs.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis to align business requirements with the learning curriculum for the assigned business/groups/talent segments.
  • Regularly meet with business unit leads to discuss progress and goals.
  • Participate in the annual planning process and other relevant meetings of the assigned business/groups/talent segments.
  • Design programs based on targeted competency proficiency levels.
  • Implement standardized processes for designing and developing programs across businesses, utilizing internal or external resources.
  • Choose appropriate methodologies for programs (online, classroom, blended learning, 70-20-10 approach).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in learning and development, evaluate their relevance to EastWest Bank, and drive implementation if applicable.
  • Evaluate potential areas of synergy and customization of programs common across business units.
  • Implement the standardized process for vendor/facility selection, development, and management for the assigned business/groups/talent segments.
  • Conduct/facilitate programs for assigned business/groups/talent segments, when applicable.
  • In coordination with L&D Operations, manage training operations efficiently (RACI).
  • Design evaluation levels based on target proficiency levels.
  • Measure learning evaluation of each program through L1, L2 & L3, and against the target proficiency level.
  • Communicate evaluation results to key stakeholders, provide recommendations, and implement changes.
  • Ensure compliance with BSP regulations (AMLA, FATCA, etc.).
  • Develop programs to help employees and the bank comply with BSP regulations.

Qualifications

  • Willing to work in Ortigas/Mandaluyong area.
  • Business Course.
  • Sales experience and Sales Facilitation skills.
  • Preferably had Bank experience in Sales.
  • Communication, Collaboration, Customer Focus, Critical Thinking, Responsibility, Results.
  • Compete with Strategic Thinking & Agility LEARNING ROADMAPS - Developing Learning Agility; Master Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving Skills; Managing Disruptive Change.
