Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant Specialist to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a Financial Accountant Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reviewing and updating existing guidelines and processes, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as client reports and tax schedules.
  • Reviews and updates existing guidelines and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in accountancy and at least 2 years of experience in audit firm and/or financial statements preparation of a financial institution preferably in a trust corporation. Additionally, you should have knowledge and expertise in various accounting standards such as PFRS and Local Statutory Requirements.
