Key Responsibilities

The Treasury Officer will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Cash Position Preparation and Reporting:
    • Daily analysis and monitoring of all cash management-related transactions, including collections, payments, and fund transfers.
    • Funds Pooling and Consolidation.
    • Facilitating the sweeping of funds from various bank accounts for disbursement purposes.
    • Transmitting fund transfer instructions via electronic banking systems or manual forms.
  • Short-term Fund Management and Foreign Exchange Deal:
    • Coordinating with counterparty banks.
    • Canvassing rates for time deposit placements and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Feedback and Issue Resolution:
    • Managing the monitoring and tracking of feedback and issue resolution in relation to Cash Management transactions.
    • Coordination with counterparties and concerned parties to resolve issues.
  • Payment Execution:
    • Processing and validating foreign and local requests for bank payment execution.
    • Telegraphic transfers.
    • Cross Border Transfers.
    • Domestic Transfers.
    • Cash withdrawals for travel fund.
    • Letter of Instructions for Time Deposit placements, Foreign Exchange deals, Government Securities, Corporate Bonds and USD-denominated bonds.
    • Check preparation.
    • Payment to BIR, PhilHealth, Pagibig and SSS.
    • Other electronic payments.
  • Account Analysis and Reporting:
    • Cash Position Report.
    • Other-related Cash Management Reports.
  • Compliance:
    • Complying with existing policies and control procedures.
    • Performing other tasks for the accomplishment of the Department's goals.
    • Submitting regulatory reports before the deadline.
  • Administrative:
    • Securing official receipts/sales invoices and 2307 from vendors and suppliers.
    • Updating annually bank requirements such as Customer Information Form and Signature Cards.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in Commerce, Economics or Finance is required.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Banking, Finance and/or related fields is necessary.
  • Prior experience in treasury operations or a certification in treasury management is highly preferred.
