Senior Software Engineer, Platform

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our newly formed Platform team and help us scale our infrastructure.

  • Job Summary:
  • We're looking for a seasoned software engineer with expertise in building and maintaining complex engineering systems. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions.

About the Role:

This is a key position that requires a strategic thinker who can own product decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. If you have experience building and scaling large-scale products, think strategically, and enjoy working in high-pace environments, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end systems to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Platform team to provide universal architecture and experience across our products.
  • Actively participate in product decisions and refine the product roadmap.

Requirements:

We're looking for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for innovation. Here are some of the key qualifications:

  • Experience: You've played a crucial role in building and maintaining large-scale products and have worked both backend and frontend.
  • Systems thinking: You know how to think at a high level about end-to-end systems involving multiple products and 3rd party services.
  • Speed: You work quickly to generate ideas and options and know how to decide which things can ship now and what things need time.
  • Focus: We're a fast-growing startup with a busy, remote team. You know how to engage or be heads-down when needed.
  • Collaboration: You know how to inspire, play, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs.
  • Tech Stack: NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript (Java, Go, Python a plus).
