Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

FinStrat Management is seeking a senior financial analyst to join our team.

This is a full-time remote role, requiring the candidate to work independently and effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Execute in-depth research and comprehensive financial analysis
  • Develop detailed analysis on budgets, forecasts, and sales margins
  • Conduct small-scale projects and ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Generate forecasts and analyze trends for financial and strategic planning purposes
  • Create sophisticated financial models of 'what if' scenarios to help future business planning decisions
  • Provide expert support for pricing and sales
  • Provide interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in data
  • Assist in development and delivery of various reporting packages
  • Prepare high-quality financial deliverables, correspondence, and filings
  • Ensure assignments meet quality standards
  • Review, analyze, and consolidate data from multiple sources
  • Work closely with CFO and Controller teams
  • Communicate engagement matters to managers and partners
  • Deliver five-star client service
Qualifications
  • CFA Charterholder or at least CFA Level 2 candidacy
  • Ability to assemble, communicate, and present information clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Able to solve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approach
  • Attentive to detail and maintain high standards
