Logistics Strategist

This role requires a strong analytical mindset to drive data-driven decisions and optimise supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities include analysing operational data, identifying trends, and recommending cost-saving measures to enhance overall supply chain performance.

The successful candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables.

Additionally, they will be able to maintain and configure master data in COGNOS and AX (MRP) to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment.

A background in FMCG or high-volume product environments is highly preferred, as is exposure to AU or US logistics processes and invoicing.

• 5+ years experience in supply chain analysis and inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across departments.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

As a Supply Chain Optimisation Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business growth by streamlining supply chain processes. Your expertise will enable you to build strong internal relationships and foster cross-functional collaboration.

• Data & Reporting: Maintain and configure master data in COGNOS and AX (MRP) to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment. Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for actionable insights.
• Planning & Process Execution: Manage DIFOT reporting and analysis to identify improvement areas, conduct weekly planning, and generate manufacturing batch orders in line with inventory policy.
• Performance Measurement: Input and adherence to weekly and monthly reporting processes, generate insights through in-depth analysis to support continuous supply chain improvement.
