**Job Summary**
The Insurance Broker Account Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing client accounts, ensuring policy servicing, and coordinating with insurers for bookings or client aftersales concerns. This specialist-level role requires at least 3 years of experience in non-life/general insurance/group life insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Support & Servicing: Assist in client inquiries, policy processing, and claims documentation. Ensure policy renewals via preparation of notices and monitoring the renewals thereof. Together with the Account Manager, the candidate is expected to do account coverage via meetings and visits on a regular basis.
- Premium Payment & Accounts Receivable Assistance: Monitor due dates, follow up on payments, and support account payment reconciliation. Ensure end-to-end monitoring from premium collection to the issuance of invoice.
- Addressing Customer Queries: Respond to coverage, billing, and claims concerns.
- Policy Booking & Documentation: Assist in policy applications, data entry of policies booked in appropriate insurance system/platform, and compliance requirements. Complete KYC/AMLA requirements for proper customer onboarding.
- Coordination with Insurers: Support insurer communication for policy issuance and claims related concerns.
- Together with the account officer, ensure the attainment of assigned business targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in any Business or Finance course or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in non-life/general insurance or general broking services.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, premium payments, and account servicing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software.
