The position offers flexible hours, with specific schedules to be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process.
Responsibilities- Risk Assessment: Conduct site risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
- Training and Development: Assist in providing Health and Safety training for new employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Auditing and Compliance: Carry out regular internal Health and Safety audits to monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all Health and Safety related documentation is up-to-date and accurate, including safety manuals and guidelines.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A focus on continuous improvement, with the ability to implement problem-solving techniques and standardize processes.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Minimum Level 6 QQI in Health and Safety Required.
- Knowledge and compliance of H&S Legislation.
- Manual Handling Instructor and/or Forklift Instructor training would be beneficial.
- IT proficiency in Microsoft Office.
