Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure. Your duties will include:

  • Participating in system analysis and design to ensure correctness and adherence to the latest trends and technologies.
  • Collaborating with data storage administrators and software engineers to design technology policies and workflows for high-quality DevOps.
  • Deploying system and server patches as indicated in vendor patch advisories to prevent downtime due to virus and malware attacks.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on systems and servers using available monitoring tools to ensure availability and forecast future capacity usage.
  • Documenting complex procedures and troubleshooting guides related to systems, servers, software, and hardware.
  • Participating in designing complex storage and server backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and guidelines for testing and restoring backups in case of disasters.
  • Optimizing and improving existing DevOps processes for enhanced efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in IT/Computer- Network/System/Database Administration or equivalent, with Cloud Native Technology and Security experience being a plus.
  • Knowledge of micro-service deployment and management procedures and policies, including deploying systems and monitoring/alarm systems.
  • Field specialization in Banking, Financial Technology (Fintech), or related industries is highly desirable.
