Remote Teaching Position: Certified Chem and Physics Educators

Job Description:

We seek skilled educators to join our team of virtual certified teachers in chemistry and physics. As a remote teacher, you will create engaging lesson plans, leverage technology, and deliver interactive live lessons to students in a flexible online environment.

The ideal candidate should hold an active US state-issued teaching certification in chem and/or physics, be proficient in using virtual teaching tools, and have one or more years of teaching experience.

  • Develop Lesson Plans: Create well-structured lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and pacing guides, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter among students.
  • Integrate Technology: Effectively utilize a variety of online tools to differentiate lessons, engage students, and enhance their learning experience.
  • Deliver Live Lessons: Teach synchronously during regular school hours (4-hour minimum).
  • Grade Assignments: Evaluate and grade student work to track progress, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to support student growth and development, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Hardware Requirements:

  • Laptop or desktop (Windows 10 or 11) or Mac (iOS 10.14+), 2 monitors, reliable internet connection (50 Mbps download speed).
  • Fully remote teaching - no in-person commitments.
  • No school duty stations/last-minute class coverage/etc.
  • Scheduling to fit your needs/schedule/lifestyle.
