Job Description

As a data analyst, you will be responsible for robust data manipulation, large-scale infrastructure development for data ingestion, and stunning data visualization for custom client applications.

The role involves:

  • Data mining, preparation, and reporting.
  • Preparation and conduct of analyses and studies, needs/gaps assessments.
  • Applying knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of data, recommendations, and proposed solutions.
  • Documenting and summarizing results, developing recommended solutions for customer problems.
  • Preparing big data, implementing developed data models, and providing database support for customer solutions.
  • Being a key member of a data science project team, supporting data scientists or other consultants in assigned tasks.

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in applied research, big data analytics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, computer science, operations research, or closely related quantitative disciplines. A bachelor's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, data science, computer science, operations research, or other scientific/technical disciplines is required.

We value candidates with strong analytical skills, ability to communicate complex ideas, and proficiency in SQL, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI.

Requirements and Qualifications

Key qualifications include four years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong analytical skills. Familiarity with data mining methods, databases, data visualization, and machine learning is essential.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong background in statistics, data science, computer science, or operations research.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and statistical software packages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
