We are seeking an experienced Architectural and Electrical Estimator to perform takeoffs and costing for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans. This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and estimation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates using Planswift or Bluebeam software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel, highlighting key project details.
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, fostering open communication and cooperation.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam (essential).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects, with a focus on electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
  • Experience in lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Prior costing/estimating experience is highly beneficial.
Work Arrangements

This is a full-time position with regular working hours from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. The role involves 100% remote work, allowing you to work from home with flexibility and autonomy.
