Actuarial Analyst Specialist

Join our dynamic team and take on the role of Actuarial Associate. As an Actuarial Associate, you will be responsible for conducting regular valuation of policy and claims liabilities in accordance with local statutory requirements and group reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular valuation of policy and claims liabilities in accordance with local statutory requirements and group reporting
  • Pricing support and profitability analysis for various lines of business and different partnership projects
  • Prepare regulatory actuarial reportorial requirements and submissions
  • Product development support (regulatory filing, UAT, review of materials, etc.)
  • Conduct assumptions review and experience studies
  • Provide support in business planning and other reportorial requirements
  • Define business requirements for actuarial data and reports
  • Develop strong relationship with other departments such as business development, underwriting, risk, claims, finance and IT

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a multinational insurance firm doing pricing and/or valuation
  • At least 4 preliminary exams
  • Familiar with local regulatory requirements on pricing and/or valuation
  • Keen interest in insurtech business and data analytics
  • Strong experience in Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in actuarial software such as Prophet or AXIS is a plus
  • Experience in SQL or Python is a plus
  • Associate of a recognized actuarial qualification (SOA, CAS, or ASP) is a plus
