Job Title: Legal and Compliance Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the documentation and record-keeping of the Legal and Compliance teams, supporting audits and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with necessary regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong English and communication skills, a college degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field preferred, familiarity or interest in Legal & Compliance, and standards and regulations. They will also have the ability to remain calm under pressure, work well within a team, communicate needs, give constructive feedback, jump in when needed, and work autonomously and exercise sound judgment independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the documentation and record-keeping of the Legal and Compliance teams
  • Support audits and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with necessary regulations
  • Provide operational support for the compliance program, helping to ensure smooth execution of all processes
  • Provide basic support for the legal team, including reviewing simple NDAs and agreements and providing contract intake support
  • Assist with management of internal legal and compliance tools, including the contract management system
Requirements:
  • Strong English and communication skills
  • College degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity or interest in Legal & Compliance, and standards and regulations
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work well within a team, communicate needs, give constructive feedback, jump in when needed
  • Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment independently when required
