Job Description:
As a Laboratory Assistant at People360 Consulting Corporation, you will play a vital role in supporting our laboratory analysts in the preparation and analysis of various laboratory samples.
You will be responsible for preparing and endorsing sampling media to our laboratory clients, receiving sampling media and Chain of Custody records from them, and maintaining overall cleanliness of laboratory workspaces.
In addition, you will order and maintain laboratory resource inventory, update laboratory environmental, safety, hazard, and waste disposal records, participate in risk assessment activities, and implement controls.
Furthermore, you will follow our organization's guidelines and policy on quality, environment, safety, and health (QESH), specifically safe chemical handling, storage, and disposal.
You will also commit to responsibility and participation in our Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health, and Corporate Social Responsibility programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support laboratory analysts in sample preparation and analysis
- Prepare and endorse sampling media to laboratory clients
- Receive sampling media and Chain of Custody records
- Maintain laboratory workspaces cleanliness
- Order and maintain laboratory resource inventory
- Update laboratory records
- Participate in risk assessment activities
- Follow QESH guidelines and policies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
