About the Team:

The Water and Urban Development Sector Office in the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is dedicated to delivering impactful sector strategy, initiatives, and integrated solutions that advance ADB's strategic agenda in the region. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ADB Project Manager to join our team in Manila, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operational support in the processing, implementation, and administration of investment projects and TA projects for water and urban development sector.
  • Engage with government officials, development partners, and stakeholders to facilitate project formulation, processing, administration, and monitoring.
  • Contribute to portfolio management, sector work, and activities, including research, information updates, and financial analysis.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences, contribute to sector assessments, and provide advice on project procurement and sector policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering, public administration, or related disciplines; preferably with advanced training.
  • At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, project administration, budget preparation/monitoring, and/or project processing activities related to loans and TA projects.
  • Familiarity with good industry practices and guidelines within area of expertise.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills.
  • Sound understanding of ADB procedures and practices related to TA and loan/grant project processing and administration, including safeguards compliance.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with computer-based applications.
