Financial Operations Specialist

Our organization is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial operations expert to join our team. This role involves providing top-tier financial support to clients across the globe, with a strong focus on delivering scalable solutions and upholding the highest standards of integrity.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished bookkeeper to grow into a leadership position, contributing to both internal operations and client-facing projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy, and a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Additionally, they will prepare financial statements and reports for management and client review, and support audits, tax preparation, and financial analysis as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Utilizing various accounting software platforms, such as AppFolio, Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, and ZOHO Books.
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Preparing financial statements and reports for management and client review.
- Supporting audits, tax preparation, and financial analysis as needed.
Required qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proven experience working with international companies, especially in the US market.
- Strong proficiency in AppFolio, Yardi Voyager, and common accounting platforms like QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with PM Bookkeeper, OJO Bookkeeping, Xero, FreshBooks, and ZOHO Books is a strong plus.
- Experience with time and project tracking solutions, like Harvest, is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of US accounting practices and international financial standards.
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and presentation).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Own computer and reliable internet connection.
- Professional work ethic and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is a plus.
- Background in property management or professional services accounting is a plus.
- Experience with client-facing roles and managing multiple accounts is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and KPI tracking in financial operations is a plus.
