Backend Software Engineer Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in building scalable and maintainable software systems. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a collaborative team responsible for designing and developing our backend infrastructure using Elixir and Phoenix. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Postgres databases, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to mentor junior engineers, and participate in cross-functional initiatives. We are looking for someone who can design and implement high-quality APIs, contribute to code reviews, and collaborate with other teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of major projects and initiatives
  • Participate in product development, provide feedback, and suggest improvements
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product and engineering domains
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to shared codebase
  • Debug, solve issues, and propose platform improvements
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer with Elixir and Postgres
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
