Plumbing and Sprinkler Takeoff Specialist Job Description

The role of a Plumbing and Sprinkler Takeoff Specialist plays a pivotal part in the success of construction projects.

Key responsibilities include accurately interpreting drawings, conducting takeoffs to determine material quantities and labor costs, reviewing project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work, obtaining vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy, and preparing detailed proposals using provided templates.

  • Conduct thorough takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to calculate precise material requirements and labor estimates.
  • Review all project documents and drawings meticulously to identify potential scope of work variations.
  • Obtain accurate vendor pricing for materials and supplies to guarantee cost precision.
  • Input takeoff data and prepare comprehensive proposals utilizing provided Word and Excel templates.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in plumbing & sprinkler takeoffs, proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, and hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes.
