Senior Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and investigating anomalous activities within our security platform.

Your primary responsibilities include conducting advanced investigations of potential automated and human threats, analyzing complex patterns and behaviors, and developing actionable insights to enhance our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze events from multiple sources to detect threats and respond promptly.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams to accomplish tasks.
  • Assist in collecting metrics to measure the efficiency of Security Operations functions.
  • Audit the effectiveness of security measures to ensure compliance.
  • Implement and update security policies and procedures.
  • Tune and refine processes to improve standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in various stages of incident investigations and threat hunting engagements.
Requirements:
  • Experience with web and API security, coding standards, WAFs, and threat mitigation.
  • Hands-on SQL proficiency is essential.
  • Knowledge of managing and securing production environments with tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with threat hunting, web hacking, and data analysis or WAF experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of web technology and web application security.
  • Understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape and attacker mindset.
  • Scripting and programming skills (JavaScript, Python, etc.).
  • Interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends and market demands.
  • Demonstrated interest in working with data and metrics in security.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with open source analytics and visualization tools like Grafana, Apache Superset.
  • Red-teaming experience, especially bot-net development and white-hat hacking.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Web security modules and secure configuration.
  • API test automation and standardization experience.
  • Computer and network security expertise.
  • Integrating security into build automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLC orchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production.
  • Mentoring development teams and reviewing code.
  • Experience with modern application packaging, deployment, containerization, bug tracking tools, and other supporting tools.
  • Familiarity with ISMS, SOC2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and Open Web Application Security Project.
