About the Role

The Tax Assistant Manager will be responsible for demonstrating knowledge of domestic tax concepts, legislation, and regulations, and applying this knowledge to prepare tax analyses and computations, as well as identifying planning opportunities and staying up-to-date with changing tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discuss tax issues with clients and authorities.
  • Interpret tax sources for compliance and advisory work.
  • Analyze and resolve moderate complexity tax issues.
  • Incorporate changes in tax laws into client work.
  • Review junior staff work and ensure well-supported conclusions.
  • Prepare clear and thorough technical tax analyses.
  • Study domestic tax concepts to enhance knowledge.
  • Apply domestic tax laws and regulations consistently.
  • Prepare and review tax analyses for straightforward issues.
  • Utilize tools to produce accurate and comprehensive work.
  • Apply tax risk management procedures.
  • Identify and escalate local tax planning opportunities.
  • Follow confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Keep up with technical knowledge through mandatory training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree graduate.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Relevant experience in tax practice, tax advisory, and some tax advocacy work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Work Setup:

  • Hybrid setup.
  • Day shift.
  • Makati.
