Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at John Clements Recruitment Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, analyzing production costing, and ensuring timely recording and confirmation of payables and payments.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
  • Analyze production costing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely recording and confirmation of payables and payments, including journal entries, sales, and collections.
  • Assist in monthly production settlement.
  • Monitor expenses incurred by each team versus approved budgets.
  • Update and register newly acquired assets to fixed asset master.
  • Review and check monthly filing and payment at BIR.
  • Monitor monthly submission of export and importation to insurance companies.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts and expense accounts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • At least three years of experience at a managerial level in a manufacturing set-up.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Philippine Auditing Standards (PAS), Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), Philippine Taxation Laws, and Labor Laws.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP Systems.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, strong leadership, and communication proficiency.

Estimated Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
