Cloud Engineering Position

This role involves the design, implementation and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud environments using cutting-edge technologies such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage cloud architectures on AWS, utilizing services like ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM and more to ensure seamless deployment and management of cloud resources.
  • Implement Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines integrating tools for efficient and reliable software delivery, reducing manual errors and improving overall productivity.
  • Manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability, flexibility and reduce infrastructure costs.
  • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions and utilize CloudWatch, syslogs and other cloud analytics tools for real-time monitoring and observability.
  • Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform for streamlined deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure and ensure IT operations efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes and container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security and compliance.
  • Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools.
  • IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management and network troubleshooting.
  • System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates and patching.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Node.js).
