We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our technical teams in delivering innovative cloud solutions. As a seasoned Cloud Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions with the client, and providing regular coaching and guidance to peers.

This role provides a career path for Sr. Cloud Engineers and Cloud Engineers aspiring to lead and guide client engagements from end to end. You will gain exposure to other practice areas, identify new opportunities, and raise them up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for younger career team members learning our approach to infrastructure engagements.
  • Serve as a coach in a player-coach model to help support the upskilling of team members and build their confidence in infrastructure delivery.
  • Foster and build relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside of the practice.

Requirements:

  • Functioning as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • Partnering with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones are aligned to a project plan inclusive of capturing key client decisions.
  • Having a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of how they are implemented using IaC (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Helping the delivery team reach billable targets by assisting with breaking through project blockers.
  • Facilitating change orders and project extensions when in-flight projects call for it.
  • Driving alignment where there are technical mesh points between other practice areas by providing technical oversight and direction.
  • Staying apprised of the latest technologies and how they may impact existing offerings.
