Job Overview:

This role will play a pivotal part in developing and refining financial models at the portfolio level, ensuring timely delivery of investor reporting requirements, and effectively managing operating portfolios of renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts.
  • Produce detailed project budget analyses to communicate findings to operational teams.
  • Investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities for operating assets, leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reporting packages and deliverables for investors and lenders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure key alerts are delivered and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Build robust data infrastructure to enable team members to analyze and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and production metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERPs such as NetSuite.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
