Business Intelligence Expert Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our ETL processes, report development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize business intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data warehousing, ETL, OLAP Cube, and Report design/development, as well as advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, AWS Quicksight, or similar is also required. Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and ERD is necessary. Experience with Snowpipe development is preferred.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at the C-Level. They must be able to work independently and in a team, rigorous, detail-oriented, and critical thinker. Skilled in Microsoft Office products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Preparation: Ensure large data sets are accurate and ready for analysis, transferring them to new formats as needed.
  • Data Analysis: Provide in-depth analyses and actionable insights based on data trends and patterns.
  • Communication: Communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to consolidate business requirements for report and dashboard creation, automation, and analytics needs.
  • Process Optimization: Work with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines.
  • Reporting: Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex ETL processes for large-scale data integration.
  • Analytics: Design and develop sophisticated reports and dashboards using advanced BI tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Programming, Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
  • Expertise in data warehousing, ETL, OLAP Cube, and Report design/development.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, AWS Quicksight, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and ERD.
