Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial accountant to undertake key responsibilities within our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile daily transactions across various entities
  • Investigate discrepancies in control accounts (AP, AR, Intercompany) across multiple entities
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and perform closing procedures at the end of each month and year
  • Manage fixed asset registers for multiple entities
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely completion of month-end close activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements in reconciliation practices
  • Support internal and external audit requests related to reconciliations and ledger balances
  • Participate in system upgrades or transitions that impact reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a global company
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
