Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Soft Services Operations Manager to join our team at Filinvest Group. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

About the Role:

  • The Soft Services Operations Manager will be responsible for leading our soft services team, including cleaners, janitors, landscapers, and pest control technicians.
  • You will schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure that team members adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • This role also involves overseeing the day-to-day delivery of soft services, including cleaning, janitorial services, waste management, landscaping, and pest control.
  • You will work closely with external vendors and service providers to manage relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or concerns.
  • In addition, you will implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Manage and provide leadership to soft services staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  2. Scheduling and Task Assignment: Schedule shifts and assign tasks to team members, taking into account workload, availability, and operational requirements.
  3. Service Delivery Management: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of soft services, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
  4. Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, monitoring performance and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout our facilities, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  6. Inventory and Supplies Management: Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste and cost.
  7. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and innovation within soft services operations, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and leading change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of aspects of property or facilities management, specifically soft services, with a focus on program, resource, and staff management.
  • Good experience in the skill area, with a proven track record of delivering results in a similar role.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement changes to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • At least two years (2) of experience in Facilities and Property Management, preferably in a soft services role.
  • Willingsness to be assigned in Cebu City.

Estimated Salary: PHP 150,000 - PHP 200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
