Job Description

BH Properties is seeking a skilled professional to join its team remotely, working US Pacific business hours. The position reports to the Senior Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly Funding Report: Generate funding reports on a weekly basis
  • Monthly Reports: Prepare monthly liquidity statements, monitor liquidity compliance, perform multifamily replacement reserves analysis, generate multifamily monthly market comparison report, and create economic occupancy report
  • Quarterly/Year-end Loan Compliance Reporting: Create reports for major lending or banking partners
  • Quarterly Ground Lease Reporting: Monitor reporting compliance of ground lessees, perform financial reporting variance analysis
  • Yardi Reports: Prepare and generate reports requested by Asset Managers, Property Managers, etc., such as rent roll, income statement, budget, tenancy schedule
  • Loan Financing/Refinancing: Prepare underwriting for loan requests, property's executive summary, due diligence requirements, closing documents, update and review LoanBoss
  • Yearly Budget: Review budgets, prepare budgets for MF, GL, Office Suites, conduct Yardi training for AMs and PMs
  • 1031 Exchange: Identify replacement and/or relinquished properties, calculate estimated deferred tax gain/loss, calculate property tax basis
  • Acquisitions/Dispositions: Conduct due diligence requirements, closing (title and closing documents), exchange setup with First American Exchange Company, review closing statements
  • Summary Of Acquisitions, Dispositions, Financing And 1031 Exchanges: Update and maintain the summary of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and 1031 exchanges, update sold properties' IRR calculation
  • Property Tax Basis: Update and maintain the property tax basis on a quarterly basis
  • LoanBoss: Maintain and review accuracy of loan information in LoanBoss
  • Special Reports: Draw request from Line of Credit facilities, update Company presentation materials, transaction gain/loss calculation, other reports requested by management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, and/or accounting preferred
  • MBA degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions
  • Experience with top consulting firms or top financial institutions
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills required
  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and written skills
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics
