Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity

Are you an experienced accountant seeking a challenging role that utilizes your skills in taxation and financial analysis?

This senior tax accountant position plays a vital role in supporting clients by preparing financial reports, identifying issues, and resolving problems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, taxation, and client relations, with a strong understanding of Australian accounting concepts.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for review by senior team members
  • Identify and resolve complex taxation issues, including franking account deficits and penalties
  • Assist with the preparation and amendment of BAS/IAS systems
  • Analyze and prepare accounts, income tax returns, and company annual returns
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Chartered Accounting Firm
  • Expertise in Australian accounting and taxation concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
