The Sales Reporting and Accounting Specialist plays a vital role in monitoring, validating, and recording sales and other related transactions from stores. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Tasks:

  • Analyze and interpret sales data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely sales reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the SDT team to review and validate sales data, addressing any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of store deviations against bank deposits, escalating any unusual transactions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote accurate and efficient transaction processing, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual sales certificates to the Tax Services Team, ensuring compliance with local business tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit certified monthly sales certificates (CMSR) to the Accounts Payable Team, facilitating accurate percentage rental computations.
  • Maintain data consistency across the HO Module and SAP systems, ensuring smooth reconciliation and minimization of errors.

Cash Management:

  • Produce daily bank statements and Theoretical Cash summary reports, highlighting cash control deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor the resolution of cash deviations and issues, providing regular updates to immediate superiors and managers.
  • Analyze and evaluate adjusting entries for overages, shortages, and non-sales cash deposits, ensuring accurate classification and posting.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly Bank Reconciliation Schedule, analyzing reconciling items and closing open items in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
  • Able to work in a night shift environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, particularly in sales and cash management.
