Accounting Specialist Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to oversee financial processes, optimize accounting functions, and support business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with financial software, successfully managed financial reporting for a U.S.-based organization, and possess strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Process Optimization: Streamline financial workflows and automate processes within financial software.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain accurate journal entries, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare reconciliations and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Cash & Credit Card Transactions Management: Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience with financial software and a proven track record of managing financial reporting for a U.S.-based organization.
